InTech Together

Women InTech - 11th April 2022

The Women InTech Session will be held during the Connected Kenya Summit 2022 on 11th April 2022. It is the preferred session attended by Women and Men that brings together local and international delegates. It gives access to top names in the industry holding exciting careers, inspiring keynotes, engaging panels and face-to-face networking sessions to learn through bringing knowledge, fresh ideas, job opportunities and deep networking.

The year’s theme is Women InTech Accelerating Digital Transformation.

Women contribute to better-informed decisions so that the outcomes and policies and laws can work for all. Wherever inequality lives, there stands a girl or woman able to turn the surge of adversity into a tidal wave of progress.

All societal actors have a role to play including governments, private sector, academia, civil society, industry bodies and individuals.

The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown emphasis on the importance of digital connectivity in our day to day lives. It has highlighted a newfound sense of urgency to the digital transformation agenda. Digital Technologies have huge potential to act as development agenda enablers for Women.

The pandemic has also highlighted the gaps in digital skills and thus we need to address the existing barriers and new challenges that Women face to be part of the digital transformation.

Women InTech Transformation Award

We are delighted to announce this year’s First ever Women in Tech Digital Transformation Awards!

The awards are in 3 broad categories and will recognize top women across the technology space.

It’s time to bridge the gender gap in the technology industry by celebrating the remarkable women who have mentored, played a leadership role in technology and transformed the sector through Science, Tech and Engineering.

Women InTech believes in the impact of mentorship through engaging, supporting and empowering women leaders from the Public and Private Sector for the current and future generation to implement changes in their jobs, businesses, communities and beyond.
